Colton joined Turnquist Partners in June 2014, coming from New York City as a Realtor for Douglas Elliman. He is originally from Austin and attended both the University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University, where he competed nationally on each of their golf teams. Playing golf in college, Colton learned the importance of being dedicated and focused. After graduating, he was able to master and apply these skills while playing professional golf and traveling the continent in golf competitions. Colton always had an interest in real estate, since he grew up around it. His parents, Michele and Steve Turnquist of Turnquist Partners Realtors, Inc., exposed him to the real estate world starting at a young age. What he learned from them besides the art of top-notch service is the importance of educating clients not only on where the market stands, but where it's going. "Informing a client with confidence is essential," he says," because the client needs to trust that you are the expert, and know that you will do right by them at all times." After deciding to join his family in the real estate industry in Austin, Colton continues to demonstrate that same dedication, focus, and commitment with his clients to help them find a place they love calling home.
